Lithuanian on Duolingo? There isn't one. Here is how to learn it
As of October 2026, Duolingo has no Lithuanian course. If that is what you were looking for, the better question is what to learn Lithuanian with instead. You can start right here, with your first words and the way they sound.

What to learn Lithuanian with when Duolingo has no course
Grammar and conversation come best from a teacher or a course, in Lithuania or online. What no teacher can do is bring back a thousand words for you on the day each one starts to slip, and words are where most of the hours go.
That is the part Verba does. It is not a full Lithuanian course and does not pretend to be one: it teaches Lithuanian vocabulary from A1 to C1, each word with an English translation, an example sentence, audio and, where a dictionary confirms it, a stress mark.
Lithuanian words are the slow part
Lithuanian shares almost no vocabulary with English, so each word has to be learned rather than recognised. Stress can fall on any syllable and ordinary text never marks it, and nouns change their endings across seven cases.
Verba keeps the schedule for you. Each morning brings only the words that are due: a couple of minutes and three buttons, don't know, partly, know. A word you know waits longer before it returns, and a word you miss comes back sooner.
