Delete account
You can delete your account yourself in a couple of taps. If you cannot sign in, write to us and we will delete it by hand.
How to delete it
On the website: sign in, open the menu under your name at the top right, then “Settings” → “Account” → “Delete account”.
In the app: the “Profile” tab, then “Delete account”.
If you cannot sign in
Write to [email protected] from the address the account is registered with, so we know it is yours. We will delete it by hand.
What happens to your data
The account is closed at once: signing in stops, and API tokens, the bot link and phone notifications are switched off.
The data itself is not erased: your languages, words with their notes, answers and history stay in the database.
To have it erased, write to [email protected] from the account’s address. We erase all of it from the database within 30 days of the request.
Copies of the database in backup archives last until the archive expires, for up to 2 years.
